NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
IN THE MATTER.OF STATE AND FEDERAL AID FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS AT
Iowa County Airport 3151 State Road 39

The County of Iowa is considering petitioning the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, for state and federal aid to undertake the following development at the Iowa County Airport:
Upgrade/teplace fuel system; Replace rotating beacon; Reconstruct/Rehabilitate apron; Reconstruct entrance roads and parking areas; Reconstruct/Rehabilitate Runway 04/22 and/or 11/29; Reconstruct/Rehabilitate taxiways and taxilanes; Construct/Reconstruct/Rehabilitate airfield lighting including airfield guidance signs; Install airport navigational aids on Runway 04/22 and/or 11/29; Land acquisition in runway approaches and for airport development; Conduct Narrative report and ALP update; Airfield Pavement Maintenance and Markings; Acquire Hangar; Acquire snow removal equipment, Acquire snow removal equipment building; Maintain/repair/improve/construct airfield sewer and water utilities; Expand/Modify/Rehabilitate/Construct Tenninal Building and Fixed Based Operator (FBO) Building; Construct/Rehabilitate Aircraft hangar; Clear and maintain runway approaches as stated in Wis. Admin. Code Trans §55, and any necessary related work.
Notice is hereby given that the County of Iowa will hold a public hearing in the matter of state and federal aid for improvements of the Iowa County Airport. The Public Hearing will be held at:

At 6:00 P.M.
Hearing Location: Community Room
Health and Human Services Building 303 W. Chapel Street
Dodgeville, Wisconsin 53533.
All interested persons are invited to attend and present their views on the need for the proposed airport development.
Parking for people with disabilities and an accessible entrance are available at the south entrance doors off of the Level Street driveway entrance. Please call Iowa County Clerk's office at 608-935-0399 three (3) days in advance of the hearing to make specific accessibility requests.
Additional written testimony may be filed with the County of Iowa if received within 7 calendar days after the date of the public hearing. Such testimony should be directed to Craig E Hardy; Iowa County Highway Commissioner at 1215 N. BeQuette Street; Dodgeville, Wisconsin 53533; and shall be submitted prior to 3:00
P.M. on Tuesday March 26, 2024.

The Iowa County Airport provides full service or self-serve 100LL and Jet-A fueling, available 24 hours a day with your credit card. As you know, our fuel prices have been some of the lowest in the area, and we hope to continue that trend into the future. Our pilots lounge is always open (24hrs) for your traveling convenience/comfort! Don’t forget we also have a courtesy car available for your use and / or you can call Enterprise car rental at 608-935-7878 (they deliver cars to the airport).
For those of you interested in finding a new home for your aircraft, we have sites ready to build on with reasonable leases. We are also currently polling for interest in T-hangar rentals. Please let us know if you have any interest in renting or leasing a T-hangar unit for your aircraft. There are a lot of things happening at the airport right now, feel free to let us know if you want to be a part of it. For those interested in doing business here at the airport we have a new set of Minimum Standards (adopted in May 2009) for which to operate your business under.
