2025 Iowa County NACD Conservation Awareness Poster Contest
Land Conservation/2025 Conservation Poster Contest packet
The 2025 theme for the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) Conservation Awareness Poster competition is “HOME IS WHERE THE HABITAT IS.” The Iowa County Land Conservation Department is sponsoring the program locally, encouraging students to submit unique artwork to address this year’s theme.
The first-place poster from each grade division moves on to area, state, and national competitions. The Iowa County contest date is January 10, 2025. The Southern Area contest is January 30, 2025 in Portage, WI. The State Contest is March 5-7 at the WI Land+Water Annual Conference. National Contest entries are submitted by WI Land+Water by December 1, 2025.
Students receive prizes and awards at each level where their posters compete and win. Iowa County awards a special prize for the classroom with the most student participation at the local level. Our winners may receive Amazon gift cards, reusable water bottles, coloring books, and custard coupons.
