Visitation:
Onsite:
All visits will be conducted over the kiosk.
Public visitation is held:
- Sundays 1:00pm-4:00pm (last scheduled visit starts at approx. 3:20)
- Mondays 6:35pm-8:15pm (last scheduled visit starts at approx. 7:45)
- Wednesdays 6:35pm-8:15pm (last scheduled visit starts at approx. 7:45)
- Saturdays 7:00am-10:00 am (last scheduled visit starts at approx. 9:20)
During that time a visitor can schedule a visit to come the Sheriff’s Office to visit over the kiosk. This will not charge them for data.
Inmates are allowed one 30-minute visit per week over the kiosk in the Sheriff’s Office.
The visitation week starts on Sunday.
Persons are limited to visit one inmate once per visitation day.
Visitors must make an appointment by contacting jail staff or online form.
Visitors displaying other than orderly conduct during visits will not be allowed to visit on that day. Such visitors may be permanently banned during the inmate’s period of incarceration, and may be subject to the penalties of Section 947.01, Wisconsin Statutes, Disorderly Conduct.
Inmates still housed in Intake will not be allowed visitors.
Inmates on probation/parole status may have restricted visitors and/or phone calls as deemed appropriate by their probation/parole agent.
Visitors must make an appointment by contacting jail staff at least 12 hours in advance of the requested visit.
If you want to make an appointment during one of these times, either call 608-930-9500, Extension 1 or complete the Visitation Request Form.
Offsite:
All visits will be conducted over the kiosk.Inmates or their visitor must purchase data to visit someone offsite.
Visitors must make an appointment by creating a CIDNET account for remote visits.
If a no-contact order exists between inmate and visitor, the visit will be denied.

Depositing money for inmates:
- Visit the website JailATM™
- Friends and family will need to create a username and password to add funds.
- Once logged in, click on SEND MONEY NOW. This will get you to a screen of dropdown choices.
- On drop down choices select: State=WI > Facility Name=Iowa County Sheriff’s Dept > Last Name=Inmates last name. These are required fields to be able to access the screen that require your credit card information.

Commissary:
- The Iowa County Jail’s commissary provider is Stellar Services, LLC. Commissary is ordered by the inmates, via the computerized phone system. Inmates may simply pick up the phone and select a code to order commissary. Inmates may update or delete their orders at any time during the week. Commissary is processed and orders are packed and delivered on Wednesday of each week (excluding holidays). Inmates must sign for their commissary orders.

Inmate Property:
- Must have a request in from the inmate
- Inmates can release property to visitors. A request slip must be filled out by the inmate prior to the property being released. When releasing property, the inmate must release all of their property to the same person. They can’t pick individual items to be released.
- Any unclaimed property after the inmate’s release will be disposed of in accordance with Iowa County Jail’s procedures.
- Inmates cannot have property dropped off for them. The inmate must purchase items, including hygiene items, from the commissary service provided at the jail.
